NHS Covid-19 Protection Guidelines – Still in Operation

Please be kind! Our staff have been experiencing a lot of abuse at the moment and this will not be tolerated in line with our NHS Zero Tolerance policy.

In line with NHS guidance, if you attend the medical centre you will;

Need to wear a face mask
Social distance in the waiting room
Be asked to wait outside if you have a cough or any other covid-19 symptoms

This is to ensure the ongoing protection of patients (unwell and those yet to be immunised) and our staff.

Our doors are now fully open, but we ask that you do not come into the building if you have any Covid-19 symptoms – instead please wait outside and press the intercom to speak to a member of staff or phone 01603 251600.

Appointments are being delivered over the telephone, face-to-face and via video consultation.

All urgent same day doctor appointments will be via telephone consultation in the first instance. The doctor will call you and if they then feel you need to be seen in person they will arrange this.

Some nurse appointments can be via telephone – you will advised this on booking. If you physically need to be seen by a nurse i.e.; dressing, blood test, immunisation etc then you will be a booked a face-to-face appointment.

Keep well and safe, be kind and thank you for your understanding and patience.
