Practice Nurse

We are looking for an RN Practice Nurse to join our current team, undertaking appointments to provide relevant health care to the patient population, within the guidelines of practice policy and the remit of the NMC code of professional conduct. 

No experience within a primary care setting is needed, but it is desirable.  An interest in a young population is essential.  The successful candidate must have the ability to work on their own initiative. 

  • Hours: 30-37.5 hours per week (negotiable)
  • Band: Equivalent to a Band 5
  • Salary: £24,765 - £30,615
  • Contract: Permanent

Administrator/Medical Secretary
(full-time)

This is a highly administrative multi-tasking role, covering a wide range of duties including emails, tasks, queries, file and referral management and problem solving. A great deal of initiative is required.

Act as a point of contact for all communications between the patients, doctors, all Medical Centre staff and outside agencies such as the UEA, hospitals and other secondary care providers, helping to maintain a close and efficient working relationship between all as appropriate. Assist in the daily running of the office administration of the Medical Centre. Provide an effective referrals and administrative secretarial service, ensuring continuity of service throughout the year. You will work as part of a team, providing administrative support for 11 doctors, 4 nurses and 3 managers.

Hours/shifts will be worked week days (between 0830-1730) with the occasional Saturday morning 0830-1200 covering reception.

  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week 
  • Salary: £19,500-£22,074 (per annum)
  • Contract: Permanent

Trainee Medical Receptionist/IT Assistant
