Routine Pre-bookable Appointments
We offer telephone and face-to-face routine, pre-bookable appointments, Monday-Friday and alternate Saturday mornings.
Routine appointments can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance. 10 minute appointments. In special circumstances longer appointments are available so if you are attending to discuss multiple issues, ask the receptionist for a slightly longer appointment.
Urgent Same-Day Appointments
This service operates every weekday between the hours of 08:30-18:30hrs Monday-Friday. If you feel to you need to speak to the urgent clinician, this will be via telephone triage in the first instance. Let reception know by phoning 01603 251600.
This service is for URGENT medical problems only – problems that cannot wait for the next available routine doctor appointment.
Only the urgent problem will be dealt with during the consultation – any other issues will need a separate routine appointment.
If the clinician feels your problem is not urgent, you may be asked to re-book into a routine appointment clinic.
Between 18:00-18:30 you will need to call to speak to the urgent clinician if your medical issue is very urgent and really cannot wait until the next day.
The receptionists have been instructed by the clinicians to ask for your reason for visit. Patients will be dealt with on a priority basis and occasionally the doctor may be called out in an emergency, thereby increasing the waiting/call back times.
Post-Natal & 8-Week Baby Check Appointments
Post-natal appointments should be booked for 8-10 weeks after baby has been born. This is a 30 minute appointment with a doctor, followed by an appointment straight after with a nurse for baby’s first immunisations.
This type of appointment can not be booked online. You will need to call reception on 01603 251600 for all post-natal appointment bookings.
Minor Operation Appointments
We carry out minor operations in-house for conditions such as:
- Ingrowing toe nails
- Skin cysts
- Biopsies
- Subcutaneous implants
You can not book directly into this clinic.
This is an in-house doctor referral only clinic. Once you have been referred, you will be added onto a waiting list we will call you once a suitable appointment for your minor operation becomes available. If you have not heard within 4 weeks of your referral, please call us.
